Aurora is the founding partner for ALR Civil Rights. Aurora specializes in defending individuals from abuses of state power. She believes that everybody has a right to dignity and respect regardless of whether they’re incarcerated. When the state violates those rights, be it by depriving inmates of medical care, exercising excessive force during an arrest, or the innumerable other abuses that the state visits on vulnerable people, Aurora uses her extensive experience to secure justice for victims and accountability for perpetrators.

Aurora attended the Sturm College of Law, where she was received the Outstanding Student Lawyer Award in 2016 and 2017. After graduation, she followed her innate drive for justice and specialized in defending the rights of incarcerated people.

Aurora has received numerous Top Lawyer awards and commendations for her pro bono service.
